When children join us, they are coming into a completely new environment, a new experience, it will be a new adventure with new challenges. Our care home is situated in a beautiful secluded valley, where they will experience the countryside, a farm, and new challenges. Our qualified staff will do all they can to make the children stay with us happy and fulfilling as we possibly can. We will never be able to replace the childrens parent or guardians, we will be as caring as possible.
Denbury Care is located on an 80 acre farm, in a beautiful valley, surrounded by woodlands and pasture to where children can have adventures, be involved with animals, wonderful countryside walks, Picnic in our beautiful valley, you can even try fishing and other pursuits that only the countryside can offer.
The Wildlife at Denbury Farm is something to behold. In our valley, there can be seen a wonderful array of wildlife, fox, Badger, Roe and red deer. If you are lucky, you may even see a wallaby. The birdlife is varied, with raptors nesting in the valley, kingfishers, and Canadian geese nesting on the lakes.
Denbury Care is close to the seaside resort of Minehead and the small historic harbour town of Watchet, for evening and day trips. Within a short walk, there is the West Somerset Railway, England’s longest Heritage Steam Railway that travels through 22 miles of the Somerset Countryside, stopping at historic. stations.
